(KGTV) - Crews are working to contain a fast-growing brush fire near Fallbrook on Saturday.
The blaze was first reported at about 3:10 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to CalFire, the fire had grown to 75 acres along Sandia Creek Drive, just south of the Riverside County line. Officials say the fire is now 3% contained.
100 homes are threatened and are being evacuated off of Sandia Creek.
Residents in evacuation areas are being directed to Fallbrook High School.
