A famed hamburger chain has beef with one of its competitors.

In-n-Out Burger has filed a lawsuit against Smashburger, accusing its competitor of offering a new burger that looks, sounds and smells too much like their own offerings.

According to the suit, Smashburger's "Triple Double" sandwich has similarities to In-N-Out's burgers, which In-N-Out claims could confuse customers and make them believe the companies are connected.

In response, Smashburger says its "Triple Double" is not comparable to anything on In-N-Out's menu.
