SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The iconic California Tower reached a major milestone Wednesday, welcoming its 100,000th visitor after it reopened in 2015.

The tower was built in 1915 but closed in 1935 amid the great depression. For decades, it fell into disrepair and was closed to the public.

It is now open daily for visitors. Tickets for adults cost $23 dollars.
