Horse critically injured in the Lilac Fire are being treated at the San Luis Rey Equine Hospital by staff around the clock.
The hospital is treating 10 horses on staff, most suffering from burns and lacerations. Some are also suffering from smoke inhalation.
The hospital is equipped with a hyperbaric chamber, a surgery room and an evaluation room.
The couple that owns the equine hospital say they've been given the green light by their trainers to do everything necessary to help the horses get better.
