Homeowners worry about mountain lion sightings

Posted

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Homeowners in the Chantemar neighborhood are concerned after two possible mountain lion sightings in the last week.

Yvonne Bitar says her husband was coming home from work just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday when he spotted a mountain lion in their driveway.

The mountain lion ran away before they were able to take a picture.

Bitar says this sighting is the second in a week. Last week, she received an email from her neighbor about a sighting down the hill from her home in Crown Point.

The homeowners filed a report with Fish and Wildlife and they were told to call police if there's another sighting.
