SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Along with the heat San Diegans are battling the bugs: ants, fleas, roaches, and mosquitoes.

Lloyd Pest Control says they're getting hundreds of calls a day from homeowners seeking relief.

"Most of them have tried themselves to get rid of it, and usually there's some level of frustration where they just want it to be over with," said Jeff Bracht, Field Supervisor for Lloyd Pest Control.

Bracht says ants are opportunistic, looking for any way to get inside your house. He says they're attracted to food and sticky substances inside. He also recommends trimming trees crowding your home as they can be another ant entrance into your home.

Lloyd Pest Control recommends taking care of pest issues as soon as possible; you can make an appointment by calling: 1-800-BAD-BUGS.
