LINDA VISTA -- Graffiti and gang signs have been sprayed all over a children's playground in Linda Vista, angering residents.
Neighbor Genny Day said that for several months, graffiti has been an ongoing problem at the Kelly Street Neighborhood Park. She said the city of San Diego has cleaned up the graffiti, but not before more pops up.
Day believes the graffiti is keeping families away and sending the wrong message to kids.
“It’s just wrong. It feels like they’ve taken over the park from little kids. And what does that say to little kids?” Day asked.
