SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Five people were rescued after a boat began taking on water off the coast of La Jolla Sunday morning.
The Coast Guard says they received a call regarding a boat taking on water roughly two miles off the coast of the La Jolla Children’s Pool after 11 a.m.
Lifeguards were able to get to the vessel and rescue those onboard while crews remained with the boat until arrangements could be made to tow the boat to shore.
No one was injured in the incident.
