CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (KGTV) -- Firefighters are working to extinguish a 42-acre brush fire burning at Camp Pendleton Monday afternoon.
The fire broke out near the Mike training area a little more than a mile south of MCAS Camp Pendleton.
The base originally reported that the fire was 25 acres, but later updated the fire to 42 acres. The blaze is 100 percent contained.
The base tweeted out Monday afternoon that the fire isn’t impacting personnel or property.

Brush Fire in Mike training area
