RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - A fire completely destroyed a family’s motor home in Ramona early Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported just before 4 a.m. at a home on Via Taquita Way, near state Route 78, according to Cal Fire officials.
10News learned the fire ripped through the brand-new RV but did not spread to a nearby shed and home.
Crews had to let the blaze burn for nearly two hours due to the fuel in the gas tanks.
At least one person was displaced by the incident, Cal Fire said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
