(KGTV) - Was a man's rapid heartbeat jolted back into rhythm when his ambulance ran over a pothole?
Yes.
Paramedics were racing the Nebraska man to the hospital with a heartbeat of 200 beats-per-minute.
But when the ambulance hit a pothole, his heart rate suddenly returned to normal.
Doctors say it's a similar principal to when they jolt a heart with an electrical shock.
