(KGTV) -- Democrat Scott Peters has won reelection in the 52 Congressional District, beating his opponent Republican Jim DeBello, the Associated Press reports.
Peters was elected to the seat in 2020 after beating Congressman Brian Billbray.
Peters served on the Committee on Energy and Commerce from 2019 through 2020 and has also served on the Committee on Armed Forces.
DeBello is a tech entrepreneur who says he’s focused on homelessness and the Tijuana water sewage problems.
During the March Primary, Peters bested Jim DeBello 49 percent to 32 percent.
