EL CAJON (CNS) - An El Cajon woman was arrested Friday for allegedly making a bomb threat while discussing her child with a school-district employee.
Julie Rae Moore, 53, was speaking to a supervisor for Cajon Valley Union School District by phone shortly before 8:30 this morning when she allegedly grew angry and threatened to "blow the place up,'' according to police.
Officials put several CVUSD campuses on alert status for about 45 minutes while officers went to Moore's home, questioned her and took her into custody, Lt. Rob Ransweiler said.
Moore was booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee on suspicion of threatening a school employee. She was being held on $25,000 bail pending arraignment, tentatively scheduled for Jan. 8.
