SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Global entertainment star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson offered his condolences to a San Diego boy who lost his mother and sister in a crash.
Angelo Pizarro’s 12-year-old sister Aryana and mother Aileen died Aug. 23 when the SUV they were in was struck head-on by a speeding sports car driving the wrong direction on Interstate 805 in the University City area.
Aileen Pizarro was a huge fan of The Rock, so Angelo tweeted at him asking for a funeral tribute video.
Johnson delivered, posting a heartfelt message to Angelo and his family.
“… I’m sending you so much love and light and strength your way, from my family to yours. I’m so sorry to hear about your sister and mom and this tragic loss your family is going through, and if your mom could see me now, which I’m sure she can, I want to thank her for all the love and for being such a huge fan. So stay strong …”
