(KGTV) - A dog reportedly owned by Latin Grammy-winning star Pepe Aguilar died at Los Angeles International Airport Friday after getting loose.
The dog, named "Cucho" according to the star's tweets, was found dead after it got loose in the baggage area of LAX during a Volaris flight transfer and was lost.
After hours of searching, Volaris and Aguilar both reported finding the dog dead.

"Volaris deeply regrets this fact and is in touch with its owners to provide them with the attention they need," the airline said in a statement.

Aguilar expressed disappointment in the way that Volaris and LAX handled the situation.

The flight was on its way to Los Angeles from Mexico.
