SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - As a Red Flag warning took effect in San Diego, a small brush fire broke out Wednesday night near a golf course in the Grantville area.
The fire erupted just before 9 p.m. in an area near the Admiral Baker Golf Course off Admiral Baker Road.
The San Diego Fire Department tweeted about the incident shortly before 10 p.m., informing the public that two helicopters and several fires worked to put out the flames.
Strike team, two helicopters and several engines quickly put out this fire on the hillside near Admiral Baker Golf Course. Crews held the fire to about one acre and stopped forward progress within 20 minutes.

10News learned crews quickly put out the blaze, which was believed to have burned about one acre.
