POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) – The owner of the StoneRidge Country Club has closed its doors after nearly 60 years of operation.
The closure comes after voters overwhelmingly rejected Measure A, which would have allowed for up to 25 acres of the property to be re-zoned for luxury condo development.
On Wednesday, former employees were seen picking up final checks and grabbing their equipment.
10News has reached out to a spokesperson for the owner, Michael Schlesinger, but has not heard back.
