SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Sharp HealthCare officials say a large number of COVID-19 vaccination appointments are available at two San Diego County super stations this weekend.
According to Sharp officials, 200 walk-in appointments at the South Bay Super Station in Chula Vista (565 Broadway) are available Friday. The vaccination clinic is scheduled to close at 7 p.m. Friday evening.
More appointments are available for Saturday, Feb. 20, and Sunday, Feb. 21, for both the Chula Vista super station and the Grossmont Center super station in La Mesa. Sharp officials said 3,000 appointments are available for each day at each site.
The vaccine being administered at the sites are Pfizer; Sharp officials say first doses will be administered, with second doses administered for those who've previously received their first dose.
As a reminder, only those who meet the necessary criteria can receive the vaccine.
