Coffee shop holds fundraiser for dog bite victims

SAN DIEGO -- A fundraiser is being held Wednesday for a family injured in a dog attack in La Mesa.

Karina Gonzales says she was walking with her kids in la Mesa when two Rottweilers charged at them.

Gonzales says her two-year-old was bit in the head and arms. Karina was hurt trying to protect her kids.

Both Gonzales and her young child are out of the hospital recovering.

Wednesday, Burly and The Bean coffee shop in City Heights will donate all its profits to the family. The coffee shop is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
