City Heights schools briefly locked down after gunshots heard at nearby park

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Several schools in City Heights were briefly locked down Monday after gunshots were reported at a nearby park. 

According to police, both Central Elementary School and Wilson Middle School went on lockdown around noon after gunfire rang out at nearby Teralta Park. The lock downs were lifted shortly after 12:30 p.m. 

A witnesses in the area at the time reported seeing several juveniles wearing hoods running out of the park shortly after hearing the gunshots. 

No victims were located at the park and it's unclear if any suspects are in custody at this time.
