SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Several photos captured by a local woman depict a man begging for money on the median of a busy La Jolla intersection along with three young children.
The woman who took the pictures, at the intersection of Torrey Pines Road and La Jolla Parkway, shared them on the Next Door app looking for answers about what to do, who to call and how to help those kids.
She also said she tried contacting police but the man and kids quickly left.
10News reached out to San Diego County Child Welfare Services and asked what people should do if they see children in a similar situation.
They said the agency can't do anything based solely on a photo and that anyone who witnesses something like this needs to make a formal report, so it can be thoroughly investigated.
