SAN DIEGO - A new scam targeting a Chase bank customer has cropped up in San Diego.
A San Diego resident received a letter claiming to be from the bank, asking that they update their address and to login or call to confirm their details.
The young woman who received the letter tried the number given, but wasn't convinced. Her father wasn't either.
Here's a look at the letter they received:
Team 10's Adam Racusin spoke with the father and daughter about the letter and what Chase had to say about the incident.
Chase recommended that customers protect their user name and password of their account, do not reply to any suspicious correspondence with their account details, and to avoid offers of money or prizes.
