SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A driver suffered minor injuries after the cement mixer he was driving overturned on a freeway on-ramp in the La Jolla area.
The crash happened shortly after 3 a.m. Monday on the La Jolla Village Drive on-ramp to southbound Interstate 805, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details on what led to the crash are under investigation, but 10News learned the driver did not suffer life-threatening injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
The CHP closed down the on-ramp at about 4 a.m. for crews to lift the 60,000-pound cement mixer from its side.
