SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A man was arrested after crashing his car into a City Heights home following a police chase Tuesday evening.
According to police, officers tried to pull a 2002 Audi over when the driver took off, sparking a pursuit.
Almost immediately after the chase started, the car crashed into a home on the 4200 block of 42nd Street.
The Audi crashed through a black fence and into the home’s yard. Police say part of the iron fence was destroyed as well as a mailbox and some flower pots.
The car also crashed into some stairs of the home, but barley tapped the house, police added. The driver of the car jumped out of the vehicle shortly after crashing, but was caught by police.
Family members could be seen in video taken at the scene exiting the home to see what happened. No injuries have been reported.
