(KGTV) - Fifty Marine musicians from Camp Pendleton will help California residents celebrate Independence Day at the "Happiest Place on Earth" next week.
On July 4, the 1st Marine Division Band based out of Camp Pendleton will participate in the daily flag retreat ceremony at Disneyland, before a pre-parade performance from the theme park's town square to "It’s a Small World" attraction.
The band will then take part in the Pixar Play Parade, a specially-themed parade celebrating the summer's "Pixar Fest."

Finally, the band will perform a special concert at Disneyland's outdoor amphitheater, "Fantasyland Theatre."
The 1st Marine Division Band was organized during World War II in the early 1940s. Since then, the band has performed at the State Funeral of President Ford, the Tournament of Roses parades, and annual concerts at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
The band has continued serving, as well, including in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom I and II.
