SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - State lottery officials are making it easier to check if you're a winner.
The California Lottery released a new mobile app, "Check-A-Ticket," that allows players to check their tickets from the comfort of wherever they are.
Players use their phone's camera to scan their ticket's barcode and check if they're a winner right in the app. Winners will still have to claim their winnings by visiting a Lottery location, district office, or mailing in their tickets.
