Police officers in Ithaca, New York, couldn’t catch a Grinch who was stealing Christmas presents.

So the officers called on a little boy to come save the day.

Colin Hayward-Toland has cancer, but he’s always wanted to be a police officer.

When the police department heard the Grinch had come to town and was trying to ruin Christmas, they called on Colin to come help save the day.

When asked how he helped, Colin replied, “I arrested the Grinch. The Grinch himself. He was stealing presents.”

Officer Colin slapped the cuffs on the Grinch and walked him right into court.

The Grinch was eventually let go because he apologized, perhaps because his heart grew three sizes that day.
