CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Police are investigating the circumstances that led to a man's suspicious death inside a Chula Vista tattoo parlor.
Chula Vista police said an anonymous caller contacted them just before 7:30 a.m. Sunday and informed them of "armed subjects" at Raza Tattoo in the 300 block of Broadway.
Police said officers "responded and made several unsuccessful attempts to contact anyone inside the closed business. Officers could not find any evidence of a crime."
Police added: "Eventually, officers were contacted by a relative of the business owner. The relative was worried about the owner and believed the owner was inside the business. Officers made entry into the business and discovered a deceased male inside. The death appeared suspicious."
The victim has not been identified.
