RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - A woman was found dead in a vehicle in Ramona late Wednesday after driving off the road and crashing into a concrete wall.
The woman was killed after her vehicle crashed into the rock retaining wall at about 2:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Gem Lane, according to California Highway Patrol and City News Service.
CHP is investigating what caused the woman to drive off the road, but they say she was traveling west on a dirt road within a private residence when she failed to slow as the road curved to the left. She then drove straight into the wall, according to CHP.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
