CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - A new pizza restaurant is opening its doors at Chula Vista’s Otay Ranch Town Center.
Blaze Pizza will officially open its newest San Diego County location Sept. 13, near the Best Buy store.
The Chula Vista restaurant will feature the company’s signature interactive open kitchen, and the eatery is “constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, uses eco-friendly packaging, and features energy-efficient LED lighting.”
To mark the opening of Blaze Pizza, the fast-casual restaurant is offering customers who visit the Chula Vista location a free build your own pizza on Sept. 14, from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m. All customers will have to do is follow Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook to cash in on the offer.
Company officials said the opening of Blaze Pizza in Chula Vista will create 50 local jobs.
Blaze Pizza also plans to partner with schools, sports clubs and other groups for fundraising events.
Blaze Pizza franchisee Brian Spongberg said, “We are thrilled to open another Blaze Pizza in the San Diego community. Chula Vista has a great reputation, and we are grateful to be a part of the wonderful community culture. We thank the Chula Vista people for welcoming and embracing Blaze Pizza!”
Blaze Pizza has locations in Encinitas, Carlsbad and San Diego.
