Southern California is getting blanketed with snow and all the winter weather is causing road closures in the mountains.
Big Bear Mountain Resort Thursday announced several road closures impacting those hoping for a weekend getaway.
According to the resort, Highway 18 is open in certain areas, but that could change throughout the night. Click here for an updated traffic map.

Highway 38 is closed as Caltrans works to reopen the roadway.
As of Thursday afternoon, the latest winter storm to sweep through Southern California dumped 10 to 14 inches of snow on the mountain.
So far this season, 126 inches have fallen on Big Bear.
