SAN DIEGO – Several people were displaced after an apartment fire in Bankers Hill Thursday morning.
The blaze broke out before 8 a.m. at a apartment building in the 100 block of Redwood Street. According to San Diego Fire-Rescue, it was confined to a bedroom.
A total of 14 people were displaced. The Red Cross was assisting them with temporary housing.
The cause is under investigation by the Metro Arson Strike Team. No further details were confirmed.
