SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are investigating after an argument led to a stabbing in San Diego’s Valencia Park neighborhood.
According to police, two women got into an argument on the 5100 block of Imperial Avenue around 4 a.m. Sunday.
Police say one of the women was upset that the other was smoking near a leaking propane tank.
After the argument escalated, one of the women challenged the other to a fight before producing a kitchen knife and stabbing the other.
The victim received a laceration on her left forearm but refused medical treatment. The suspect, a 58-year-old only knows as “Carmela” fled the scene on foot.
