SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A monument dedicated to Gold Star families was unveiled at the Miramar National Cemetery ahead of Veterans Day 2023.
It was an emotional time for the families whose loved ones died while serving in the United States armed forces.
10News anchor Lindsey Peña reported from the ceremony, and she spoke to one family who told her what the monument means to them.
