3 off-leash dogs attack man at Oceanside park

Authorities took three dogs into custody after the animals attacked a man at an Oceanside park.

According to Oceanside police, the incident happened Sunday at about 5:30 p.m. at Libby Lake Park.

Police said three dogs attacked a man, causing injuries to his hand/arm and leg.

Officers used fire extinguishers to get the dogs' attention, and officers from the Humane Society took the three dogs into custody without injury.

Police said the dogs' owner was not located. The animals were at the park by themselves and not leashed, according to police.
