SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego police are investigating two shootings that occurred several blocks from one another in which three people were injured.
In the first shooting, which was reported just after 12 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Raven Street in Mount Hope, witnesses said several men in a white car drove by and opened fire, striking a man in the leg.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.
Less than an hour later, police responded to reports of gunfire near a home in the 4400 block of Market Street in Chollas View. In that shooting, two men were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Their condition is not known.
Several witnesses in the Chollas View shooting were not cooperating with police.
Police are looking into the possibility the shootings are connected.
