SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Some members of a local rock band are hoping surveillance video can track down a person who fired off a rock attack into a back yard.

On Wednesday night just past 11 p.m. off Greene Street, Scott Bishop and the other two members of his band Planet Shred were rehearsing inside a home music studio.  The doors were shut and the next door neighbors tell 10News they could "barely hear the music." In the back yard were two friends of the band.

Video shows a person walking up to the fence holding what appears to be rocks. When the motion activated lights come on, the person is seen hopping off a fence, after apparently firing the rocks. Bishop says the two rocks whizzed past his friends, barely missing them.

"It was thrown like a pitch, instead of tossed...it was thrown hard, meant to do pain to something," said Bishop.

Neighbors say teens were recently spotted firing bottles into another back yard, but it's not clear if it's connected. If you have any information on the cases, call San Diego Police at 619-531-2000.
