SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Hillcrest residents are on edge after what appears to be a "Peeping Tom" is caught on camera.
The man was seen looking through a window at a home near 3rd and Pennsylvania Avenues. The man was first sighted on Sept 6 around 9:15 p.m. He was peeping through the window before disappearing.
He returned 20 minutes later and appeared to try and look through the window again based on security video footage.
He also took that time to urinate along a wall.
Neighbors confronted him and chased him away. But he returned on Sept. 10.
That night, security video shows the the man jumping on a patio where he appeared to try and get a better vantage point at the window.
“(My neighbor) had pulled the blinds but he jumped up on the porch to kind of see through a gap in the blinds. And that was concerning because he’s really interested in that window,” Deborah Callahan, a neighbor, said.
There have been several reports of a man looking through windows in Hillcrest. Callahan isn’t sure if its the same man but says it’s nevertheless alarming.
“Whether it’s the same person or a different person, it’s been happening a lot,” she said.
