Madison Weil is an Emmy Award-winning MMJ and reporter who joined the 10News team in May 2022.
She began her on-air career at KESQ in Palm Springs. A Southern California native, she graduated from USC Annenberg with her Master’s degree in journalism and from UCLA with degrees in Global Studies and Anthropology.
Madison also spent a year in New York City at ABC News, producing across national digital platforms and working on the broadcast show, Nightline. As a true California girl, however, she is thrilled to be home reporting in sunny SoCal on the issues that matter to her the most.
Madison has a passion for breaking news, human interest and social justice stories. As part of her beat, she frequently reports on local Ukrainian and refugee stories. She also covers the Port of San Diego and SANDAG.
