Posted

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A Pacific Beach woman featured on the ABC show “Shark Tank” is living a good life thanks to her success with the “Sleep Styler”.

Tara Brown said her struggles with her own hair inspired her to invent the curlers. Users can twist their wet hair into the rollers at night, then wake up with spirals.

The product was shown on “Shark Tank” in March. Brown won a business partner in Shark Lori Greiner.

Greiner took over the day to day business but Brown gets a healthy cut of $75 million in sales.

Brown chooses to work part-time as an ophthalmologist. Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs? Don’t quit your day job!
