SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - If you've been missing the unicorn and rainbow concoctions that swept across plates and Instagram pages this year, the San Diego County Fair will have you covered.
The sparkly and colorful wave of foods will be featured at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this year, thanks in part to 2018's theme of "How Sweet It Is."
Among some of the magical offerings are the cotton candy ice cream sandwich from Chicken Charlie's (a fair mainstay), TastiBurger's unicorn fries and unicorn burger, Bacon A-Fair's unicorn party pineapple, and unicorn dogs from Pink's Hot Dog.

If you've moved past the unicorn sensation, don't worry because there are still plenty unique and new options.
Look for Pignotti's Pasta's spaghetti donuts, bacon-wrapped baklava at The Mediterranean, more Chicken Charlie's fun with deep-fried filet mignon and ramen burritos, Premier's donut grilled cheese sandwiches, (have we made you hungry or sick yet) and much more sweet and delicious creations.
In line with the fair's sweet-tooth theme, the fair's Cocoa Cabana speakeasy will be selling candy-infused cocktails and local craft brewery Mike Hess has developed a special beer just for the fair: The Tangerine A-Fair IPA.
Fair dust or not, foodies will have trouble not taking photos of or filling up on this year's creative dishes.
