An old studio in Carefree where actor Dick Van Dyke once filmed his TV show has gone up in flames.
A passerby saw flames coming from of the roof of the building near Cave Creek and Pima roads sometime before 3:30 a.m. Sunday and notified authorities.
Firefighters from Scottsdale, Phoenix and Rural Metro Fire assisted Carefree crews for several hours in extinguishing the fire.
Officials say no buildings or homes nearby were damaged.
Several roads in the area had to be closed.
Fire investigators are trying to determine if the blaze was arson.
Van Dyke lived in Arizona in the 1970s and filmed "The New Dick Van Dyke Show" there.
Rural Metro fire officials say the building has been vacant and was scheduled for rezoning.
