It’s a new year and while our regular routines have changed, resolution goals remain staying healthy in both mind and body.
We know with stay at home orders in place as we head into 2021, keeping positive, eating healthy and getting regular exercise is tough to achieve. So we asked Coach Nasara Gargonnu, Sirius Fitness expert and Live Well San Diego Public Health Champion if he has any tips and strategies for fitness and nutrition.
“Get outside, get some sunshine, eat fresh veggies and fruits but most of all try to boost your immune system”, Coach Nasara advised. “There a lots of YouTube or virtual fitness classes available online.” As a P.E. teacher in San Diego since 2005, Coach Nasara can’t emphasize enough the benefits of even small daily efforts. “Take that run, safely of course, but recognize we all have bad days – just don’t let that stop you!”
What could be more simple right?
- Regular exercise
- Drinking more water
- Eat healthy fresh foods
- Enjoy some sunshine
