and last updated

With stay at home orders keeping many of us from our regular routines, we are all looking for different ways to stay healthy.

ABC 10News has a couple of partners who are ready to help you stay fit and socially connected.

Recently, we spoke with Chairman Greg Cox, District 1, Board of Supervisors San Diego County about some of the great resources you can find through Live Well San Diego

Live Well @ Home is helping San Diego residents cope with social distancing during this crisis. We know it can be hard to be stuck at home for weeks on end and they’ve created a website for people of all ages with resources, videos and activities to help you stay more physically fit and more mentally healthy all in the comfort of your own home. You’ll find everything from Tai Chi to Yoga lessons online.

Want something to help kick start your stay at home? The Live Well @ Home 30-day challenge was created to help you stay healthy and in the right frame of mind.

For example, one day the challenge will be to do something physical like a series of squats which can be easily done in your home.

Remember, staying connected is important for everyone!

TheYMCA of San Diego County is excited to introduce their “Virtual” YMCA. While you can’t physically go into your local YMCA branch, you can log onto their website and click through to “Visit Virtual YMCA”.

You’ll be connected to virtual workouts, childcare referrals, news and information. View their library of streaming workout options. There are a lot of activities for all different ages, especially for families to do.

The best part? Many of these services are absolutely free for a limited time.
