SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Know a frontline worker? This Valentine's Day, show your gratitude and appreciation with the help of the San Diego Symphony.
Until Feb. 10, the symphony will offer free e-cards to wish a frontline worker a Happy Valentine's Day. The virtual card will include the recipient's name, your personalized message, and a 30-45 second musical passage performed by a San Diego Symphony Orchestra musician.
Recipients will receive their valentine on Feb. 14 and senders will get a link to view their message.
"This can be anyone you feel has continued to support our communities and the people in them in these challenging times, especially since COVID has changed the world in which we live," the symphony's website reads. "Doctors, nurses, grocery store workers, restaurant workers, scientists, taxi/Uber/Lyft drivers, teachers … we can’t name them all, nor will we attempt to define them. But you likely know at least a few, and this is your chance to recognize them in a special, musical way!"
E-cards can be submitted online here.
