CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) -- If you’re hoping to cool off this weekend, you’re in luck! The Legoland Water Park is expanding its days of operation Memorial Day Weekend.
Located inside Legoland itself, the water park features pools, waterslides and thrills for the whole family.
This year, guests can have all new experiences at “Surfer’s Cove,” a beach-themed area featuring a new ride called Riptide Racers.

The 100-foot, six-person water slide allows families to have timed races against each other.
The area also features Wipeout Lagoon, which features interactive water features and splash pads.

The Legoland Water Park is located inside Legoland and requires an admission ticket to Legoland. To access the water park, Legoland tickets can be upgraded for an additional $30.
