SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- SeaWorld’s newest roller coaster is gearing up for its May opening.
The coaster, called Tidal Twister, will take riders on a tight figure-eight track as they duel it out with another train.
Riders will be able to sit forward and backward as they make their way through the ride and into the zero-g roll that sits in the center of the coaster.

Tidal Twister sits 16 feet off the ground and is located adjacent to Aquaria: World of Fishes aquarium and tide pool.
As with other SeaWorld projects, the park’s latest attraction will not only be thrilling, but also educational.
A research support aquarium highlighting sustainable aquaculture and coral reef protection will be part of the attraction.
Tidal Twister is slated to open on May 24.
