SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Get your happy feet on! SeaWorld San Diego is celebrating World Penguin Day Thursday.
The park announced that it recently hatched a king penguin at Penguin Encounter, adding to the excitement of the celebration.
The addition of the king penguin comes as SeaWorld gets ready to open a new roller coaster for the start of the summer travel season.

The new ride, called Tidal Twister, features a zero-g roll as riders embark on the coaster.
The ride is set to open on May 24.
