SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — If you're looking for Valentine's Day dinner plans, Yelp claims there's one spot in San Diego that should be at the top of your list.

The review website this week released its list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the U.S. and one San Diego restaurant just made the cut.

CUCINA urbana in the Bankers Hill area ranked 98th on the list, which specializes in Italian cuisine and wines.

Yelp's ranking was developed by using reviews mentioning the words “romantic,” “Valentine’s Day,” and “date night” and ranking those spots using other factors that included the number and quality of reviews. Metropolitan areas were limited to two eligible locations.

It would seem like the restaurant was primed to be chosen the top 100 honors. Urban Kitchen Group, which owns CUCINA, announced earlier this week a special Valentine's Day menu at the restaurant that includes a 3-course, prix fixe menu for $50 per guest. Diners can choose from:

  • First course offering herb ricotta gnudi, seafood sausage stuffed calamari or lamb meatballs
  • Second course of braised beef ravioli, seared seabass, espresso crusted pork tenderloin or pan seared mushroom scallops
  • Dessert of chocolate ricotta cheesecake or a passionfruit semifreddo
