LA JOLLA, Calif. (KGTV) - Pulitzer Prize-winning presidential historian Jon Meacham is coming to Warwick's in La Jolla Sunday, June 10 to sign his new book, "The Soul of America".
Meacham, best known for biographies of Andrew Jackson and George H.W. Bush, is a frequent guest on network news programs offering historical perspective on current events and the presidency.
Ahead of the book signing, Meacham chatted on Facetime with 10News reporter Jeff Lasky for a wide-ranging interview. Meacham makes the case that the United States has seen similarly divided times in our history, but has always found a way to come together and move toward what Abraham Lincoln called the "better angels of our nature".
